Sifu Mike will be sharing the rare and elegant Burmese Min Zin Reiki method known as the “Reiki Self Healing Mudra.” The Reiki Self Healing Mudra is a special spiritual reiki self healing mudra which is composed of 12 unique mudra’s (like yoga or qigong postures) which facilitate reiki healing for major energy zones, organs and glands. This special method also encourages the opening of the “small heavenly cycle,” also known as the micro-cosmic orbit, the shoshuten (‘circling of light’), the shower jyoti, and many other names for this important divine cycle of spiritual energy within the human energy system; thus enhancing health and harmony of spirit, mind, body.
Sifu Mike first learned this method directly from living legend grandmaster Dr. Maung Gyi 25 years ago, and has been personally empowered by Dr. Gyi himself to share it with others. This method comes from Dr. Gyi’s ancient Burmese Min Zin lineage, which he generously shared with us as an enhancement to standard Usui Reiki Training. Dr. Gyi is a polymath and most unusual person, he speaks 10 languages fluently, taught at Harvard for 5 years, is a Professor Emeritus at Ohio State where he taught for 30 years, is the Founder and Chief Instructor Emeritus of the American Bando Association, and was a close associate and student of H.H. Dalai Lama and his Chief Security Consultant in North America for many years; amongst many, many, many other unique honors and achievements- his autobiography cannot be published until 20 years after he passes away. He is at or near the highest human levels in a variety of Asian martial, meditative, and healing arts, including spiritual energy healing arts such as Usui Reiki Ryoho, and he is known as a “grandmasters’ grandmaster.’
