Reiki and Energy Zones

• 🦋 ..One of the biggest misconceptions in the reiki world is the supposed conflict between knowledge of and using the chakra system and the dan tien system- memo to Reiki World- there is no conflict! There are numerous, untold numbers of systems of classification of human and spiritual energy systems, each one was developed and influenced by the culture and time as well as needs and intents of the people in those times and cultures. As for chakra and dan tien systems in Asia, they go hand in hand in numerous blendings. For instance the Founder of Usui Reiki Ryoho, O-Sensei Mikao Usui, was steeped in both, by virtue of being Japanese in general, and specifically by being a master of Japanese martial, meditative and healing arts; AND a Buddhist Teacher, especially the Buddhist Path he was on which preserves the Indian knowledge of the chakras ( a form of "Mikkyo," Japanese Esoteric or Vajrayana Buddhism). I have worked with both for decades and learned from numerous world experts with true ancient lineage, plus constant daily study, meditation, and application, and can say with verisimilitude- there is no conflict, each has it's place and is worthwhile. Those in the reiki world focused on either exclusively would do well to explore both, especially learning about the dan tien and working with them (all 3 starting with the 'seika tanden' in the 'hara' first).
